From June 17th to 24th, 2023, the 6th "China Civil Engineering Cup" football league of the Nigerian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, hosted by the Nigerian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, organized and sponsored by CCECC, was held at CCECC’s headquarters football field and CGC’s overseas headquarters football field, as the executive vice president unit, CGC also provided stadium and volunteer services for this competition. This is the second collective event organized by the Nigerian Chinese Chamber of Commerce after the 'Huawei Cup' table tennis tournament, with active participation from Chinese enterprises in Nigeria. The Huawei team led by Huawei, consisting of Zhongbei Construction, TBEA (Beijing), SEC, MCG, etc., participated in the league and achieved runner up results.

This 7-day football league includes 6 group stage matches and 1 final. As company representatives, colleagues from the Abuja headquarters are taking a break from their busy work and experiencing firsthand the spirit of hard work and the power of teamwork emanating from football, as well as the charm of a large collective culture. Although many participating team members have not received professional sports training, on the field, for the team's victory, they do their best and do not give up until the last moment, demonstrating perseverance and strong willpower, the emotions on and off the field are excited, and the team's cohesion, sense of honor, and sense of mission naturally arise.

These team members not only fight for their own glory, but also strive for the image of the company and the honor of the team, by participating in it, everyone has a deeper understanding of the power and sense of achievement brought by teamwork, and at the same time, they have also felt the charm and passion of collective culture.

Overseas life is not only a stressful job, but also intertwines with a variety of leisure activities. This football league event is not only a sports match, but also an opportunity to showcase team spirit and fighting spirit. It is also a meaningful learning journey, like launching a useful textbook.
