The city of Nanyang, Henan province has had an opening ceremony for a new Smart City Cloud Data Center.

The provides a foundation for smart city work in Nanyang,the next step is for departments to work together on data collection and management standards and to see that the center runs effectively and to make full use of the center for smart city construction in Nanyang.

The cloud data center is an important part of Nanyang's smart city 2014-18 development plan and is expected to help it integrate government information sources and improve administration while setting up a smart city.
