The details of building up eco-friendly agriculture, ensuring the good quality and safety of products, are contained in the 13th Five-Year (2016-2020) Plan on Shanghai's agriculture development issued in Oct., 2016.

The city will stop using chemical fertilizer and find more effective ways to recycle straw, both big pollution sources in agriculture, the plan said.
