Achievements
On the year of 2013, Shenhua coal liquefaction megaton industrial demonstration plant in Inner Mongolia Erdos Plateau fully realize the full treatment of sewage and achieve "zero emissions " goal. This is the world's highest levels of chemical wastewater treatment. Shenhua coal liquefaction project invested a total of 1.34 billion CNY on environmental protection , accounting for 10% of the total investment , the investment was mainly on optimization and improvement of sewage treatment and reuse, and using the world's most advanced environmental protection technologies and apparatuses.
On 29 March 2013, Langxinming Company, a subsidiary of GDTE, has gotten 2 patents regarding "Automatic Integrated coagulation sedimentation filtration device" and "steel integrated flotation device" after the approval of the State Intellectual Property.
Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation has successfully developed a new generation of water purification agent which can be widely used in steel production wastewater, paper, printing and other heavily polluted wastewater and sewage purification treatment , etc. It makes slag and water resource utilization succeeded in entering the field of chemical. It has solved the international unstable problems caused by the existing of f-CaO in the traditional application area of slag and the problem of long-distance transportation when utilizing metallurgical slag.
Maanshan sewage treatment which constructed by China Metallurgical Group was popularized across the country. It was awarded “Huangshan Cup” Engineering in Anhui province. The total investment was 145.86 million CNY. Environmental experts believed that it could be used as demonstration project due to its good condition after putting into operation as well as the advanced level of design, construction and operation.
